Work Experience:
The Brooklyn Studio (September 2021-Present) Brooklyn, NY
- Managed high end residential and institutional projects in New York and Connecticut from inception to completion
- Managed and trained teams of 2 to 5 people to draft and file full sets of drawings with the DOB and LPC
- Developped and implemented client specific passive house construction protocols and details for rowhouse and ground up projects
- Created a database of construction details to facilitate knowledge transmission throughout the office
- Led site meetings as well as client meetings and presentations - Drafted schedules and budget projections for each project and kept all of them on track
Shalat Architects P.C. (September 2015-September 2021) Long Island City, NY
- Drafted complete sets of drawings for numerous commercial and residential projects
- Acted as in house photographer and renderer, built 3d models for all of the firm's projects that required renderings
- Collaborated with multi disciplinary teams working on a wide range of projects from SD through CA

Becker & Becker Associates (September 2014-June 2015) New York, NY
- Participated in the refurbishment of 90 social housing units, created minutes and punch lists to establish progress
- Drew technical and commercial plans as well as construction details for ongoing projects
- Created renderings and 3D walkthrough videos for ongoing multi-family residential projects
- Drew technical and commercial plans as well as construction details for multifamily, residential housing projects
- Worked directly with leasing clients to define their needs and consequently create plans for their respective activities
- Acted as the in house graphic designer for the firm, designed logos, business cards and marketing products
Reed Exposition France (Batimat Expo) (January 2013- March 2013) Paris, France
- Single architect selected to curate a selection of remarkable buildings for Europe's largest construction expo (Batimat) – buildings had to be built between 2011 and 2013 in the “Grand Paris” area.
- Created individual data sheets for the expo based on categorazation of data (50 detailed, 200 total).
- Customized interactive map of the selected buildings for upcoming smartphone/tablet app.
- Pre-screened and prepped noted architects for official interviews (Rudy Ricciotti, Beckmann N'Thepe, OFIS, Robert A.M Stern, Dietmar Feichtinger) – the interviews were showcased as part of the exhibition and viewed by all attendees.
- Partnered with the production team to write subtitles for the interviews in French and English.
Ergapolis competition (2011) Fontainebleau, France
- Team leader of the 2nd place winning “eco'6'team” – developed project strategy and coordinated inter-disciplinary team comprised of two architects, two engineers, two urban developers and two economists.
- Designed a green community for the city of Fontainebleau comprised of commercial, residential and cultural buildings.
- Gained certification for Environmental Approach to Urbanism.
Shigeru Ban Architects Europe (September 2009- january 2010) Paris, France
- Selected as one of 4 interns for the semester among numerous applicants
- Created physical models for several projects (Centre Pompidou de Metz, Tamedia, Cafe del Mar, Silver city)

- Participated in weekly field reports and meetings for the Metz Pompidou center
Olivier Nguyen-huu architecte dlpg (July 2008- August 2008) Paris, France
- Studied engravings of a 400 year old Vauban fort and transcribed them into Cad documents as part of an international competition.
- Participated in construction site meetings reviewing three projects – took notes, enumerated defects for on-site inspections.
